Street Food in the UK
- Designer Hollie Russell MISTD
Street food was barely a concept in the UK 20 years ago. It is eaten at markets, events and festivals with restaurants rushing to mimic its success within their menus. This rapid growth is helped by the low start up cost and low legal barriers that enabled food enthusiasts to begin their culinary adventure. According to a report in the publication MCA The UK street food market was predicted to reach £1.2bn in 2018 with a 9.1% increase from 2017.
These infographic posters are designed in the style of a placemat menu that can also act as packaging to line containers or wrap food up in.
