Brutalism: Watching the Future Arrive is a 96 page book on the brutalist architecture movement that I designed for my final major project. Brutalism is as much an ethical movement as it is aesthetically. I look at the rise of brutalism in post-war Europe and, in particular, Britain. Complex bespoke binding allows the pages to be held in the book without glue. They can be removed from the cover so the book can be viewed in its most honest stateāa key principle of the brutalist movement. The unique binding also accommodates for a folded map of brutalist Britain to be inserted at the back.
