ESCAPING EARTH: Creative Project
Advertising Adventure
During the pandemic, the whole world has been affected. It’s become difficult to do many activities, going to the cinemas, seeing your friends, travelling around the world and more. Travel and tourism seem to be one of the more affected areas. At the start of the pandemic, 10% of flights were cancelled in early March 2020. As the epidemic continued that percentage increased to 40—60%. By April 2020, more than 80% of flights were affected.
Research has shown that the amount of time for travel and tourism to go back to “normal” will be around 6 years. Fully recovered in 2026, this is around the same time the Voyager Station is set to be open to the public in 2027. The voyager Station is a hotel in space that allows for a three day stay costing around £5 million.
If you have been dreaming of an out of this world vacation since the pandemic started, then space travel is for you
Escaping Earth is a parody book with a whimsical flair that is advertising the future possibilities of space travel. During the pandemic, it’s been difficult for this situation to feel like it will ever go back to normal. The goal of this book is to bring a form of peace during this pandemic. Highlighting change and opening the readers mind to how small everyday truly is compared to the galaxy above us. Giving the reader information on their journey to space and what the guidelines are.
